Eight tour players Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Levon Aronian, Fabiano Caruana, Alireza Firouzja, Ian Nepomniachtchi, Leinier Dominguez, Richard Rapport, and Shakhriyar Mamedyarov are joined by wildcards Hikaru Nakamura and SamShankland for a rapid round robin and blitz.
