Together with Ivanchuk, the whole Olympic team of Ukraine signed the petition – the open team GM Andrey Volokitin, GM Anton Korobov, GM Ruslan Ponomariov, and GM Volodymyr Onishchuk; the women team of Ukraine – IM Inna Gaponenko, IM Yuliia Osmak, IM Natalia Buksa, WGM Ievgeniya Doluhanova, GM Anna Ushenina; and coaches GM Mykhaylo Brodskiy and GM Alexander Beliavsky – all of them urging not to lift sanctions against the Russian and Belarusian federations.
