Volokitin wins the UK vs Ukraine Solidarity Match

The 2004, 2015, and 2021 Ukraine Champion Andriy Volokitin is the winner of the UK vs Ukraine Solidarity match. The 8-game match took place in London between English no. 1 Mickey Adams and 3-times Ukrainian Champion Andriy Volokitin. The match is organized by Chess in Schools and Communities and will be held half in the Ukrainian Embassy and half in the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The prize fund is $45,000.

The match finished with a score 4,5-3,5 in favor of the Ukranian player, and games were live daily on Chessdom. Replay the games with analysis here
