Martin B. Justesen aka SayChess comments the Dvorkovich’s #SayChess campaign #TweetOftheDay

Martin B. Justesen is an avid chess player from Denmark. Justesen is a chess author who published seven chess books and he creates content about his own journey towards chess improvement on Youtube, Twitch, and his newsletter saychess.substack.com. For years the brand of his social media accounts and the newsletter says #SayChess – exactly what Arkady Dvorkovich chose to be the motto of the new campaign for 2022 FIDE elections.

After Dvorkovich announced the team and the hashtag motto for 2022 FIDE elections, Martin B. Justesen tweeted he is not sure if it is a clever brand decision:

The hashtag #SayChess became viral in 2016 during the Baku Chess Olympiad as many top world players were using it during their stay in Baku, as well as the official social network accounts of the 2016 Olympiad.
