The most anticipated chess tournament of 2022 FIDE Candidates Chess kicks off in two days with the 1st round following encounters: Duda – Rapport, Ding Liren – Nepomniachtchi, Caruana – Nakamura, Radjabov – Firouzja. Alireza Firouzja checked where he’ll meet with Radjabov in two days, and made a little inspection of the 2022 Candidates Chess venue, Palacio de Santoña.

Fabiano Caruana also arrived in Madrid, as well as Tiemour Radjabov, while Ding Liren has just started his travel from China and is expected to be the last player to arrive for the Candidates Tournament.
