The 21st edition of the IPCA World Individual Chess Championship 2022 takes place from 8-17 May in Ashdod, Israel.

28 physically disabled chess players – men, women and juniors (2002 year of birth and younger) compete in the 9 rounds swiss tournament, fighting for the total prize fund of 5.500e.
