The 37th edition of the European Chess Club Cup kicks off today in Mayrhofen, Austria, with participation of 87 teams (70 in the Open section and 17 in the women’s section). 600 players will defend the colors of their clubs, among them Magnus Carlsen, Viswanathan Anand, Richard Rapport, Shakhriyar Mamedyarov.
