Team Netherlands set for 44th Chess Olympiad 2022

The Dutch Open National team is set for the upcoming 44th Chess Olympiad in Chennai. The team with an average rating of 2665 will be led by world number nine – Anish Giri, who has represented the Netherlands in five Chess Olympiads (2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018).

This time, the Dutch team will not be captained by GM Jan Gustafsson who signed a contract with the German Chess Federation to coach the German National team.
