The “Shusha Chess 2022” international tournament takes place from 21-25 September 2022 in Shusha, Azerbaijan. The event is played in two categories – Open and Women with the total prize fund of 80.000$, and each tournament features 10 invited players.
The Open event gathers 10 world-known grandmasters: World No 10 Shakhriyar Mamedyarov, World No 15 Teimour Radjabov, as well as Gadir Guseinov, Rauf Mamedov, Vasif Durarbayli, Wang Hao, Vidit Santosh Gujrathi, Parham Maghsoodloo, Rustam Kasimdzhanov, and Mustafa Yilmaz.
