The 78th Polish Individual Open and 73rd Polish Individual Women Chess Championships 2021 are underway in Bydgoszcz, Poland.

Open Championship is played as a knock-out event and two matches are being played for a spot for the finals. Top seed Radoslaw Wojtaszek fights against Bartosz Socko, while Mojranda Wojciech plays against Pawel Teclaf.

After 6 played rounds in Women’s section, Majdan Joanna emerged on the top as the sole leader with 4 points.
