Pool B of the FIDE Women’s Candidates Tournament reaches the Final stage with Aleksandra Goryachkina and Tan Zhongyi fighting in the four-game match for the spot in the Women’s Candidates Finals against Lei Tingjie (who qualified from Pool A a month ago).
Goryachkina advanced to the Pool B finals after defeating Alexandra Kosteniuk with a 2.5-1.5 result, while Tan Zhongyi deserved her seat in the tiebreak match against Kateryna Lagno. The match will start with Goryachkina having White pieces. Follow the game live:
