Ding Liren considers Gukesh the favorite for the World Chess Championship 2024

China defeated Spain in round 5 of the Chess Olympiad 2024. Ding Liren held Shirov to a draw with the black pieces and Wei Yi scored the winning point. For Ding Liren this is a fourth consecutive draw at the Olympiad. So far he has lost 4,4 ELO points. His opponent for the World Chess Championship 2024 in Singapore Gukesh D is doing much better, having scored 4,0/4 and added 11,9 ELO.
