Uzbekistan is going to be the venue of the Chess Olympiad 2026. Tashkent or Samarkand will be host city of the Chess Olympiad. Uzbekistan will host a chess event of this size for the first time. In 2024, the World Chess Olympiad will be held in Budapest (Hungary).
