Vishy Anand about the World Chess Championship, “Everything is a blur until…”

All eyes are now on Astana, where Ian Nepomniachtchi vs Ding Liren, aka Nepo – Ding, will play the final of the World Chess Championship 2023.

After an eventful day 1 (see all that happened in our live blog) where FIDE failed to broadcast the opening ceremony, we are now waiting for the first moves in the games. Vishy Anand will be the live commentator of the first rounds and he shares, “Preparation, psychology or perseverance? Everything is a blur until the first move is made & clocks pressed. From then on there is only one goal – to be World Champion.”
